Approximately 60 bankers boxes of Donald McGavran’s personal papers from 1965 until his death in 1990 are being kept in the Ralph D. Winter Research Center. These materials include his writings, a large amount of correspondence, and documents from his years on the faculty at Fuller Theological Seminary. They have been initially organized but need further processing. McGavran archival materials earlier than 1965 are held at the Wheaton College archives.

At this time there is no definite plan to scan these materials for uploading to this website, but the materials are accessible by permission at 1705 N. Sierra Bonita Ave, Pasadena CA 91104.

There are also dozens of banker’s boxes of historical materials related to the US Center for World Mission (and related projects and institutions) being stored in southern California. Presently these materials are not being sorted and only a very cursory organization of items has been done. But researchers are welcome to access the material as needed.

For information on visiting the Research Center, see under Opportunities.
