A 25-year-old Ralph Winter writes to Mrs. Crooks about having wanted to invite her daughter to an evangelistic meeting in Michigan, where she lives, but he could not track down the correct apartment address nor telephone number. Mrs. Crooks is temporarily keeping belongings of Winter’s at her home, of which he mentions reading materials and large empty cans in a cardboard box to which she is welcome. Winter is wrapping up his summer travels and says his mother may accompany him on his next trip to New York.
