Greg Parsons helped to found the Ralph D. Winter Research Center (RDWRC) after Dr. Winter’s death in 2009. The RDWRC is a joint project of Frontier Ventures (FV) and WCIU. Greg has served on the Board of both FV and WCIU for many years.

He and his wife have served on the staff of FV (formerly the U.S. Center for World Mission) since 1982.

Greg worked 27 of those years with Ralph Winter serving from 1990-2010 as the General Director of the USCWM. He has a B.A. from San Jose State University, a ThM from Dallas Seminary and a PhD from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David titled: Ralph Winter’s Early Life and Core Missiology. (Visitors to the RDWRC can get a free copy!)

Working closely with and studying Ralph Winter’s life, gave Greg research experience in issues like: Theological Education by Extension, Sodalities and Modalities, Winter’s Lausanne ’74 presentation and its ramifications, and generally what was happening because of Winter and others at the School of World Mission at Fuller Seminary in the 1960s-70s. He can help direct you to materials on Church Growth, People Movements, the Homogeneous Unit Principle, among others.

He loves to give tours of the RDWRC in Pasadena. Let us know if you are coming through the L.A. area.
