In the post “Saving the American Scientific Affiliation” is a letter written by Dr. Winter expressing an interest in making suggestions to decrease the costs of publishing in the ASA, and this full-length letter is a reply to him. The Executive Secretary thanks him for his advice and is pleased to report that their Journal and Newsletter are being printed and bound externally rather than using the in-house mimeographing method. Winter has helped to save money in ASA’s budget that can be used for other projects, and for this the ASA is appreciative to him.
