Letter of appeal from the Executive Council of the ASA updating members on the entity’s financial status. They have hired an Executive Secretary full-time who has accomplished growing the membership and strengthening the ASA’s offerings to its constituents. Nevertheless, they are struggling financially with greater expenses than revenue, so they are inviting members to give at different levels as they are able so they can keep the Executive Secretary employed. Dr. Winter replies with a letter asking if he could be given access to the financial records of the publishing office of the ASA so as to suggest ideas for saving money based on his own background in publishing.
